When should I pay the deposit?

After reserving your spot, you will receive an email asking for the information needed to finalize your contract and pay the security deposit. You will have five days to make this payment and provide the required information. This amount will be refunded once your stay is over; please review the refund policy.

How do I get to the residence if I'm coming from outside Madrid?
If you're arriving by train, from the Madrid-Puerta de Atocha station, you can reach the residence in about 25–35 minutes by car or public transportation. From Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, the trip usually takes 30–40 minutes. If you’re coming from another city or from abroad, our team will be happy to guide you so that your arrival at StepHouse Pozuelo is as smooth as possible.
What do I need to bring when I move in?

Everything is ready for you: furniture and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven/microwave, refrigerator, and more. Just bring your personal belongings, and you're all set!

What types of events and activities are organized?
From workshops and talks to sports activities, trips, and social events, we offer an annual calendar designed to foster community and learning. And of course, we take into account the tastes and interests of our residents to tailor these events to them.

How can I manage my mail and packages?

We have a pickup system where you can collect your letters and packages during designated hours.

What is not allowed?
For safety reasons, heaters, additional appliances, and personal furniture are not allowed.

Can I stay for just one semester or during the summer?
Of course. We offer semester-long stays and summer stays. Check availability with our team.

What happens if I want to cancel my contract?
Cancellations will be accepted only when duly justified. Justified reasons include, but are not limited to: dismissal or a substantial change in the financial sponsor’s employment status; failure to be admitted to or inability to attend college; academic or personal changes due to force majeure; medical emergencies; or other circumstances supported by documentation.

Cancellations must be notified by email as soon as possible. Once the request has been approved, the refund will be processed within 30 days of the date of notification.
