This is how we experienced Welcome Week at Stephouse: an unforgettable first experience

The start of the academic year always comes with nerves, excitement and first times (yes, even that classic moment when the washing machine turns your clothes into a rainbow).

At Stephouse, we didn’t want anyone to go through it alone, so we held Welcome Week, a week that welcomed our residents and became an unforgettable memory.

A start that leaves its mark

It all started with Welcome Day: welcome speeches, team introductions and advice from veteran students. Their anecdotes helped the newcomers discover what life at Stephouse is really like: plans, community and experiences that go far beyond the classroom.

Activities to integrate and have fun

From day one, group dynamics created a sense of camaraderie. The gymkhana allowed everyone to get to know each other amid laughter, challenges and some healthy rivalry.

Afterwards, each residence added its own touch: pool parties, themed dinners, pizza nights or quieter plans for those who preferred to start at their own pace.

Connecting with each city

Welcome Week was also an opportunity to explore the surroundings. There were pub crawls in Pamplona and San Sebastián, outdoor dinners in other cities, and even suggestions from the students themselves, such as the Ibiza dinner, where almost everyone dressed in white (yes, there’s always one person who shows up in jeans).

Welcome Week

Benefits beyond fun

Behind every plan there was learning: leadership, teamwork, communication and adaptation to new environments. It was the best way to start developing skills that will accompany residents throughout their university years.

A fitting finale

The grand finale was a live concert at the residence: music, energy and an atmosphere that reflected the Stephouse spirit. A perfect send-off for a week that left its mark on everyone.

Welcome Week

A calendar that goes beyond September

Welcome Week is over, but the experiences continue. Throughout the academic year, there will be getaways, sports leagues and many more plans that will keep the Stephouse community going strong.

Stephouse, much more than a university residence

We want to be the place where you feel at home, find support and have experiences that will mark your time at university.

Are you looking for much more than just a residence hall? Stephouse is the place for you. We invite you to visit our facilities and discover why we are the ideal choice.
